SHES Poem in Your Pocket Day

This year for the culminating event for Poetry Month Science Hall ES celebrated Poem in Your Pocket Day. Students carried poems of all kinds with them as they went through their school day and shared them with special readers who were “all ears”. Each poem read earned them a ticket for a drawing for poetic prizes like journals, books, and art supplies. After a month of poetry reading and writing our Poetry Patrol were delighted to hear all kinds of poems.
